thoughts on abortion... part 1

I don't consider myself a fiesty person but when it comes to the subject of abortion I find myself getting pretty riled up so I try to stay away from the political arguments but for the sake of "Inciative 26 of Mississippi" I am going to share my thoughts.

Next week in Mississippi we have a chance to overturn abortion and I am thrilled!! I see lots of post on facebook that irritates me. If you don't know what the personhood amendment is please look it up. It irritates me that so many people are saying they are voting "no" because they think it's going to take away birth control. Please get your facts straight before you go posting your opinion. They aren't going to outlaw the pill. This amendment is cleary to state that life begins at conception. Feel free to go to yeson26.net see what amendment 26 will cover. If you are prolife it is your duty to vote YES!

In Genesis when Cain killed Abel, God heard  Abel's blood crying out from the ground. Abel’s blood was crying out giving testimony, bearing witness, to his murder.  How much more does God here the cries of the innocent, the unborn. Proverbs 6:17 says that God hates the shedding on innocent blood. What is more innocent that a child? Nothing.

Some of you would say "What about incest or rape" Less than 1% of abortions occur because an act of rape of incest. "What about birth defects" This one sickens me. What is a "defect" anyway? I was born with a "defect"some would say but me nor my family see it that way. We are all made in the image of God and I'm pretty sure God himself doesn't have a defect so why would any of us? To me a "defect" is a chance to prove that our God is bigger than any obstacle that is thrown in our path. God's power is revealed the greatest through weakness his glory shines through inperfections. "Birth defects" account for less than 6% of abortions. I believe that 100% of the unborn deserve a chance not just the other 96%.

Bottom line is Iniciative 26 is simply to state that life begins at conception. If you are prolife it is your duty to vote YES!! Please don't listen to the lies of the abortion industry. They are so misconcevieng. If you don't believe me google Margaret Sanger. VOTE YES & PROTECT LIFE!!!

  1. Jill, I'm with you. Either you believe a person is a person at conception or not their are no loopholes allowing us to end this precious life (rape, incest, whatever!). Plus, I fail to see how that will help the victim anyway...and birth control...even if it did outlaw all forms of BC (which is doesn't) than oh well. There are other ways not to get pregnant. I could write my own blog on this comment, but I won't!

  2. I believe that the lies the abortionist & people that believe it is a woman's choice are completely uninformed! Bottom line is what happened to that precious baby's choice. Was it his/her choice to be conceived. No, it was an act, maybe not out of love, maybe even in violence, but nonetheless, if you conceived that child is a child period. That heart beats. I won't go into detail of what abortion does to a girl/teenager/woman, but I will tell you this: your life will never be the same if you abort that baby. Never end of discussion. True story folks.
